- App Account — You may now use the FishingBC App without creating or logging into an account. (You will still need to be logged in to a FishingBC App account to link your National Recreational Licensing System (NRLS) account, retrieve your official BC Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Licence, and use the app's Catch Log feature.)
- Catch Log — Numerous improvements to the Catch Log feature.
- Regulations — An all new, simplified and streamlined look for Regulations, making them easier to read and understand at a glance.
- Updated AI — The Enhanced Species ID feature uses all new AI and is much better at identifying Pacific salmon and other finfish.
- Enhanced Maps — The Interactive Map has been updated with new functionality and new layers, including Rockfish Conservation Areas, Southern Resident Killer Whale Closures, and more.
- New Tools — An on-screen ruler, units converter, and fish weight estimator are now available.
- Miscellaneous — Numerous visual tweaks and other improvements to performance and stability
